SA Fashion Week 2011 - 2012

Catwalk report:
Sies! Isabelle caught my eye the moment I saw their clothes because the clothes are very bright and summery. The clothes has a bright lime colour that catches the eye immediately as these colours give it life and "happiness". They use a purple stretchy fabric to cover the top of the garment and the colour matches with any colour she has on the runway. She made use of a lot of pattern materials like purple flowers and lime leaves. She added a lot of draping to her collection, and every garment was a dress above or under neath the knee.

I loved the way the dresses flow behind them as it is a light weight fabric. In her collection you get a garment that has a specific colour or pattern that covers almost the whole of the dress, but she always breaks the style with another colour, like the upper purple material or lime at the bottom or at the top. The solid black dress was broken by the lime pattern fabric and gave it something more than just a plain black dress.

In almost all of her garments she used layers. She used solid colours and patterned fabric and constructed them over each other. The garments are neatly done, the sewing and draping are very precise. All of these clothes on the runway is wearable and suited for young and older people. This is one of my favored collections...
